Becky - Women in Insurance Awards

We are delighted to announce that Rebecca Ince, Chief Operating Officer, DUAL UK has been recognised as Insurance Woman of the Year in the Women in Insurance Awards 2024. They were presented at a special gala ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster in London on Thursday 17 October.

The awards honour the inspiring achievements of woman across all sectors of the insurance market, at all levels and across all disciplines.

In particular, the Insurance Woman of the Year category recognises the overall achievements of Rebecca who has helped to raise the profile of the sector as a career for women, through her commitment to education, training, leadership and acting as a role model.

As well as promoting diversity, and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups, Rebecca is the disability employee resource group executive sponsor, works with a charity called Pilotlight, is part of a sight loss steering group in the insurance market, and mentors a rising female talent in the industry.

Rebecca Ince, COO of DUAL in the UK, commented:

“Throughout my career, my passion and drive have been complemented by resilience, navigating challenges, and making tough decisions. At times, I've been the only woman around the table, yet I’ve always strived to create an inclusive environment where team members feel supported and valued.

“Teamwork is crucial to our success, and I’m fortunate to work with a strong group. I lead a diverse team of nearly 250 insurance professionals who achieve remarkable results, driven by our shared commitment to excellence and innovation.

“I am glad that insurance is now more diverse than it was at the start of my career, but we still have a way to go and this award acknowledges how important it is to have role models to aspire to.”

Simon McGinn, CEO of DUAL in the UK, commented:

“At DUAL UK, Rebecca has spearheaded the disability employee resource group initiative, actively engaging with the community to foster inclusion and support for individuals with disabilities.

We are absolutely delighted that Rebecca has been honoured with this award. In an environment of rapid change and growth, Rebecca has turned strategic visions into reality and ensured that all our initiatives are executed efficiently.  She is a worthy recipient of the Woman of the Year Award!”
